The motley crew

Being female, I like to gossip talk about other people, especially those I encounter on a regular basis. Let me introduce some of these acquaintances to you so you’ll know who to laugh at, who to respect and who to kill-on-the-spot should you happen to encounter them in your lifetime.

(OoC note: Some of the details below, like Sharlindra’s and Halduron’s connections with Sylvanas, are entirely made-up.)

Sharlindra
Sharlindra is a banshee, one of the first to regain her free will when Ner’zhul started losing control over us. She was a high elf in life, though she barely remembers anything about her former self.

Ambassador Sunsorrow
Sunsorrow is the blood elves’ ambassador to the Forsaken. He can get talkative and irritating at times, but threatening him with the wrath of doom shuts him up fairly easily.

Cyssa Dawnrose
Cyssa is Sunsorrow’s bodyguard, and is a Paladin trainer to boot. She always whines about being bored with her charge, probably because he doesn’t really do anything other than talk.

Lor’themar Theron
Lor’themar is the blood elves’ Regent Lord, and my former second-in-command when I was still Ranger-General. Things tend to get awkward between us, mostly because he tends to get fussy and I tend to get bitchy.

Halduron Brightwing
Halduron is Silvermoon’s new Ranger-General whom I’ve had the privilege of meeting while we were still Farstriders. He’s skilled at what he does, including drawing Lor’themar away from me before I attempt to shove a skull-embellished spaulder down his throat.

Grand Magister Rommath
I don’t really talk to Grand Magister Rommath much, but I’m pretty sure that he’s gay. I think he has a thing for Lor’themar or Halduron, or even Kael’thas for all I know.

Thrall
Thrall is the Warchief of the Horde. Wise, a great fighter, and a good leader, with a large amount of patience to boot. He seems to have a thing for that Proudmoore girl, but no one really knows if it’s true or not. Knowing her and her appalling taste in men, it doesn’t seem very likely. She wouldn’t know a good man if he walked up to her and broke her pretty nose.

Not that I have a thing for Thrall, mind you; I just know he’s a much better man compared to Proudmoore’s ex-lovers.

The Forsaken
My subjects and comrades. They live a life of undeath as I do, and have suffered what I have if not more. My goal is to free us all from this torment, though at the moment I’m not sure how. All roads point to Northrend though, and that leads me to…

The Lich King, a.k.a. Arthas Menethil
The list of Arthas‘ crimes against me, my people (the high elves, blood elves, and the Forsaken alike), and the rest of Azeroth are so numerous that I won’t be able to recount them all. He is the bane of my existence, and must be exterminated ASAP.

I also think he suffers from dissociative identity disorder.

That’s all of them…I think. I may have missed a few people here and there, and will, of course, mention other people in my posts.

  1. Well. Hello there. Didn’t think you cared enough to mention me!

  2. You flatter me unduly, Lady Windrunner, although I can’t think of many of my subjects who wouldn’t be an upgrade from Arthas. Or Kael’thas, for that matter, not that she ever gave him the time of day. From what she’s told me, she wanted to make a best gay friend out of him, and he had an annoying streak of heterosexuality get in the way.

    • While I agree that not many men in the world aren’t an upgrade from Arthas, you’re definitely better than most of them. Come on, Thrall, give yourself a little credit here.

And Kael as a gay best friend? Hmm…that actually could’ve worked brilliantly if he weren’t straight.

So…is there something going on between you and Jaina? *raises eyebrows at you*
